Dr. Kevin and staff had an appropriate combination of compassion and straightforward professionalism. They were all easy to work with, efficient, and attentive to patient needs. Despite being the only doctor on staff on what turned out to be a busy Labor Day, he managed his time exceptionally well. I ended up requiring an emergency root canal after three days of extraordinary pain and they took the time to make sure I was comfortable during examination and the expected wait given how busy they were. Anyone should be aware that they are paying, in some cases, a premium for emergency services and you will likely have to submit your own claim to insurance, but this was not beyond expectation. It was an emergency service on a holiday after all. They were very straightforward about costs and realistic options before performing any work. I would highly recommend this service. I was both impressed, grateful, and pain free by the time I left.

I cannot say enough positive things about Emergency Dental of Grand Rapids. My partner had to come in for an extraction and was extremely anxious going into the appointment, but the entire experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we walked in, every single staff member treated him with genuine kindness, patience, and compassion. They didn’t rush him or dismiss his fears—instead, they took the time to explain everything clearly, check in on him often, and make sure he felt as comfortable as possible throughout the process. The level of care and attention they provided was truly exceptional. You can tell this team is not only highly skilled, but also deeply committed to making their patients feel safe and supported, especially in stressful situations like this. Thanks to them, what could have been a very overwhelming experience turned into something manageable and even reassuring. We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism, empathy, and intentional care they showed. Junior, ( NAME DROP!!) was the a part of the small staff that has me so constructledly emotionally driven to write this review, which he so deserves. I would highly recommend Emergenc

Went in pretty late on Monday evening, was processed, prepped, and relieved of my wisdom tooth in less than an hour. The actual extraction took under 4 minutes and was completely painless. I went in with high anxiety over not being sedated but Dr. Justin and Nesha made the experience comfortable, quick, and made sure I was given proper after care instructions. Nesha was very sweet and held my hand while I got novicaine shots. Was a really nice experience for a high stress situation.

Dr. Kevin Dagenais and his assistant Joy mastered the care we needed on a Saturday for an emergency root canal needed. Thank you entire team as well for walking us through each step so smoothly and with great communication.

Dr. Churchman and Roxanne were great! Roxanne was aware of my anxiety and was very heartwarming yet comforting in easing it for me. Dr. Churchman was very good at elaborating my situation and all my options including the financial costs. They take plenty of X-rays and do a quick yet thorough inspection of all your teeth. The best part of it all was that both Dr. Churchman and Roxanne are absolutely hilarious! Really helps makes the situation lighter and go by quickly.
